Houghton Lake junior, Connor McGuckin, qualified for the State Finals in Powerlifting for the 155-pound weight class. Using the momentum from a 455-pound deadlift, Connor finished first in his weight class at regionals. He will be Bobcat Nation's representative this Saturday and will compete against 112 schools in his pursuit of a state championship.
