We were awarded the official Michigan Green School Certificate of Achievement for outstanding performance and lasting contribution to  conservation and preservation of the environment from Governor Granholm.

Other things we've been up to!

2009-2010 School Year:

June 2nd(Wed.)-Recycle & Pizza Party 3:00-4:45

May 26th (Wed.)-Bowling Party(Must have worked 10 hrs. to go free)3:00-5:00

May 20th(Thurs.)- A.R.K. Tour 3:00-5:00

May 17th(Mon.)-Recycle & Pizza Party 3:00-4:45

Earth Week Activities:

April 19-22 (Monday-Thursday): The 1st hr. classroom that collects the most paper and plastic will win a donut and juice party on Friday this week!

April 21(Wednesday): 12:35-3:00 is Adopt-A-Highway.

April 22(Thursday): Wear an environmental or ecology shirt today for a treat.  We will come around to check during 1st hr. At lunch we will have an environmental pledge tree and bake sale. 5th hr. we will go clean the school grounds. After school from 3:00-4:45 we will have a recycle and pizza party!

March 16-March 26th sell lip suckers

Feb. 12th-Ecology Club Valentine's Dance after the game!

Jan. 19th-Pizza & Recycle party 3:00-4:45

November 22nd-Santa's Workshop @ the Playhouse

November 19th-Work Bee @the library3:00-4:45, snacks provided.

October 26-Reycle party and make our T-shirts!

Sept. 25th-Participated in the Homecoming parade!

Sept. 19th-Worked the Conservation Expo and the Strutt Your Mutt

Sept. 17th- Adopt-A-Highway. We cleaned up our four miles!
