NOW ACCEPTING  CHILDREN AGES BIRTH TO FIVE YEARS

Open to the public

The Houghton Lake Adult and Alternative Education offers child care services for morning and afternoon classes. Child care is FREE to any non-high school graduate taking courses here. Program goals are as follows:

  1. The child care center provides opportunities for exploring, learning, and social interaction through a variety of daily activities.
  2. Staff prepares activities to stimulate the senses, recognizing that infants learn through the use of their eyes, ears, fingers, sense of taste, and smell.
  3. To provide an awareness among staff so they will provide a safe environment to meet the child’s physical and emotional needs.

Open year round.  Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Experienced staff.  Fun and stimulating environment.
